ALMIRATE NIETO:

Located just to the south of the towers and on the edge of the Paine range we will be surrounded by beautiful views. We will spend our first day hauling our equipment up to our base camp located in Ascencio valley. We will have an easy evening and early night because next morning we will attack the summit of Almirante Nieto. Ascending for about 6 hours and roughly 1500 meters we will arrive at the summit. Almirante Nieto is about the highest peaks in the range and therefore allows us to oversee all the way to the Patagonian Icefield. After spending some time at the summit we will head back to camp to celebrate our summit and spend another night in base camp. The next day, after a relaxed morning, we will pack up our camp and make our way back down. Once back to the car there is a 2 hour ride back to town, ready for a victory beer
